Garden mint can be used for so much more than you might first think! Add it to peas, potatoes and drinks for extra flavour, or make the most flavoursome mint sauce you ever did taste to mention but a few!

  • Said to be a symbol of hospitality.
  • Perennial.
  • Flowers July - September.
  • Will become invasive (we would therefore recommend growing in a pot).
  • Prefers a moist, rich, alkaline soil.
  • Prefers a shady position (but will grow almost anywhere!)
  • Strong aromatic, apply scent.
  • You can grow in pots on the window sill in the kitchen for regular sprigs.
  • Thrives in most soil types.
